To enhance the security of your account, you have the option to enable two-factor authentication (2FA). Once activated, when you log in to your Plane account, you will be required to provide both your password and an authentication code generated by a third-party app. This additional layer of security ensures that only authorized individuals can access your account.
How to enable two-factor authentication
Go to the top left of your account and click your name.
From the drop-down list, click Account settings.
Click "Enable two-factor authentication".
Follow the prompt to scan the provided QR code using your authenticator app.
💡 Please note: If you can't scan the code, click the "Can’t scan?" link to access a temporary key for your authenticator app.
Enter the 6-digit verification code generated by the app.
Enter your password for security.
Click "Verify code and activate" to confirm.
Once done, you'll be given the option to download the recovery codes. Recovery codes can be used in case you lose access to your authenticator apps.
