Please see the list below for more information on some of the account details that may be requested:
Country
The country where your bank account is located. It's important to select the correct country because this determines the information we need to validate your account.
โCurrency
The currency type that applies to your bank account. We recommend that you choose to receive payments in your local currency if that option is available to you. This will help minimize any fees that may be deducted by your bank. Banks may charge fees when you're receiving payments as an international transfer (SWIFT), so using local (domestic) transfers in local currencies can help reduce fees, which means you can get paid more.
โAccount number
Your account number or IBAN (International Bank Account Number) is a specific number assigned to your personal account. Account numbers (domestic) tend only to include numbers, but IBANs include both letters and numbers.
โSWIFT/BIC
A SWIFT/BIC code is an international bank code that identifies specific banks worldwide. You can usually find your bank's SWIFT/BIC code in your bank account statements or by contacting your bank. You can also find some SWIFT/BIC codes using the finder on this page.
โBSB
A BSB code (Bank State Branch code) is a six-digit number used in Australia to identify the bank, the state or territory, and the specific branch.
โIFSC
An IFSC code (Indian Financial System Code) is an 11-character alphanumeric code used in India to uniquely identify a specific bank branch for electronic money transfers.
โBank transit number/Routing number
A unique code that is used for accounts based on the U.S.
Account and routing numbers work together to identify your account and ensure that your money ends up in the right place.
โBranch transit number/Transit number
A 5-digit number that identifies a specific branch of a financial institution.
โIndividual or Business account type
This indicates whether the account is for a person or a registered business.
โName
The name of the person receiving the funds, you, in this case.
๐ก Please note: Due to compliance requirements, the name on the account has to yours and matches what your bank has recorded.
โBilling address
Your residential/home address that is connected to your account.
๐ก Please note: P.O. Boxes are not accepted.
