Can I specify intermediary bank in Plane?

Our banking partner will automatically route the payment via the intermediary bank that the receiving bank specifies. Banks are supported to keep the SWIFT network informed about their intermediary relationships and routing preferences. So, as long as your bank is keeping the SWIFT network informed, the payment should be routed through the right bank.

ℹ️ Important Information: Intermediary bank is only applicable for International transfer (SWIFT).

What if my bank requires me to specify an intermediary bank?

No problem! We can manually add the intermediary bank information for you. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Request the wiring instructions (including intermediary bank details) from your receiving bank. Most banks will provide these as a PDF document.

  2. Share the PDF or a screenshot of the instructions with us. You can send it through Plane’s in-app chat or email us at support@plane.com.

ℹ️ Please note: There may be cases where we're unable to specify intermediary bank details due to limitations in the banking network.
