How to connect your business bank account to Plane

How to automatically connect your business bank account:

  1. Go to the Bank Accounts section under the Company tab

  2. Click Add bank account

  3. Connect your bank account to Plaid

  4. Search or select your bank from the list

  5. Fill out the banking information requested

This process will allow you to have your bank account automatically connected. You will still receive a micro-deposit, but no action is needed on your end. If successful, you will receive an email informing you that the bank account has been added.

If it does not connect successfully, we will remove your bank account from the platform and we'll ask you through email to repeat the process. You will still have the option to try the automated micro-deposit again, or opt for the manual micro-deposit.

ℹ️ Important note: We recommend customers use Plaid’s automatic connection. If you’re unable to automatically connect your business bank account, please follow the steps below.

How to manually connect your business bank account:

  1. Go to the Bank Accounts section under the Company tab

  2. Click Add bank account

  3. Connect your bank account to Plaid

  4. Select the Link with account numbers option

  5. Fill out the banking information requested

  6. Authorize the deposit and wait 24h

Once the bank account is successfully connected, you'll see a Verify deposit button in your Plane account. Click on it and enter the code from the deposit you received.

If the connection isn’t successful, we’ll reach out to you via email with the next steps.

While waiting for the verification, the bank account will show as Pending verification on the platform:

You will also receive an email notification once the bank account is successfully verified.
