How to connect your business bank account to Plane

How to instantly connect your business bank account:

  1. Go to the Bank Accounts section under the Company tab

  2. Click Add bank account

  3. Select or search your bank from the list

  4. Connect your account and fill out the banking information requested

After this, your bank account should be instantly verified and automatically connected.

ℹ️ Important note: We recommend customers use Plaid’s automatic connection. If you’re unable to automatically connect your business bank account, please follow the steps below.

If your bank doesn’t support instant verification or you explicitly choose to verify the bank account with the account number and routing number, you will have to manually connect the account.


How to manually connect your business bank account:

  1. Go to the Bank Accounts section under the Company tab

  2. Click Add bank account

  3. Connect your bank account to Plaid

  4. Select the Link with account numbers option

  5. Fill out the banking information requested

  6. Authorize the deposit and wait 24h

Once the bank account is successfully connected, you'll see a Verify deposit button in your Plane account. Click on it and enter the code from the deposit you received.

If the connection isn’t unsuccessful, we’ll email you with the next steps.

While waiting for the verification, the bank account will show as Pending verification on the platform:
