How to change the account for your payment

Can I change the account when payment is Processing?

If you have a scheduled payment but need to switch to a different bank account or payment method, you can now easily change it from your Plane account. First, ensure that you have your new preferred bank account details added to your Plane account. For guidance on adding a new bank account, please refer to this article.

πŸ’‘ Please note: This option is only available as long as the payment status remains "Pending".

To change bank account:

  1. Log in to your account and go to the Payments > History tab.

  2. Find the pending payment you want to update and click on it.
    πŸ’‘ Please note: If your payment is on a payroll, your payment link will be on the right of the payroll details page, above "Download PDF."

  3. Click "Change Account" on the right of the page.

  4. Choose the new bank account from the list of available accounts.

  5. Click "Save" to confirm the changes.

Once you complete these steps, you'll see that the bank account has been successfully updated in the Payments tab. Your payment will proceed as scheduled with the new bank account information.

If your payment just recently changed from the "Pending" status to "Processing", there might still be a chance to switch the bank account from our side. To check this, please contact our Support team.
