How do I change or reset my password?

What are the requirements for creating a password?

You can change your password for security reasons or reset it if you forget it.


Password requirements:

The requirements below apply when setting your initial password, changing your password, and when resetting your password.

  • It must contain at least 12 characters.

  • It must be a combination of at least 1 letter, 1 number, and 1 special character (symbol).

  • No spaces.


To change your password:

  1. Log in to your Plane account.

  2. Click your account name in the upper left corner and select "Account settings."

  3. Click on "Change password."

  4. Enter your new password, repeat the new password, and finally enter your current password.

  5. Click "Change Password" to confirm the changes.


To reset your password:

  1. Go to the log in page and click "Forgot your password?."

  2. Enter the email address that is registered with your Plane account and click "Send reset instructions".

  3. An email will be sent to you with the subject "Set up a new password" from notifications@plane.com

  4. Click the "Change my password" button in the email, and you will be redirected to the reset password page.

  5. Enter your new password and click "Change password."

ℹ️ Important Information:

  • If you forget your password and enter the wrong password to log in, your account will be locked after 5 unsuccessful attempts. We'll send a link to unlock the account through your registered email. The account will be unlocked automatically after 1 hour or after clicking the link to unlock.

  • The link to reset the password in your email is valid for 6 hours. After that, you will need to request a new link here.

  • If you don’t receive the reset password email, check your Junk or Spam folders; the email may have gone there by mistake. You can also try requesting a new email.

  • For security purposes, if you request to reset your password more than once at a time and receive more than 1 email, only the most recent one is valid.
