How do I set up my contractor account on Plane?

What information do I need to fill in if I’m a new contractor?

Did you just receive an email to join Plane from your company and don't know how to get started?

ℹ️ Important Information: You will need to be invited by the company to onboard with Plane. We do not support self-sign-up for contractors at the moment.

After clicking on the invitation link, you'll be redirected to the "Sign up" page. Here, please enter your email address, choose a password, repeat the password, and click "Continue".

In the next screens, fill in the following information:

  1. Basic Information
    Insert your first and last name, your date of birth, and your residential address. Click "Save and Continue".

    💡 Please note: We cannot facilitate payments to sanctioned regions. For more information, please visit this article.

  2. Business Details
    The business details information is optional. The details required for this section will vary depending on whether you are registering as an Individual or Entity (acting as a legal entity). If you are an Individual, you can leave the information as is. If you are an Entity, fill in your business name as registered. If your business address is different from your residential address, uncheck the "Same as residential address" box, then enter the correct address.

    💡 Please note: A VAT number is a government-issued identifier that only applies to companies that assess or reclaim VAT. We don't require the VAT information, so you can skip it.

    Click "Save and Continue".

  3. Bank Accounts
    Adding your payment details is essential in setting up your Plane account. Here you can find more information on how to add your bank details.

After filling in all the required information, click "Save and Continue", review your details, then click "Confirm and Sign up". If you have made a mistake or if any of your details have changed, you can always edit any of the required information later on.
