If you’ve entered incorrect information in your W-8 or W-9 form, you may notice that the form cannot be edited after submission.
No worries! You can create a new version of the form to make your corrections.
Steps to create or upload a new form:
1. Complete your remaining onboarding tasks (if not already completed.)
2. Go to the Compliance tab.
3. Click the three dots on the right of the form.
4. Select “Create a new version of this form.”
5. Select “Upload new form” (if you’d like to upload your completed form), or select whether or not you’re a US person (if you’d like to complete it on Plane.)
6. Save the new form with updated details.
💡Please note: Previous versions are stored for record keeping purposes, however, the latest form will be considered valid.
