When hiring new employees, ensuring they are the right fit for your company is important. One way to do this is by conducting background checks. Plane can help you conduct background checks for full-time employees. We run a check that searches for:
identification of potential illegal behavior,
criminal activity,
incidents of fraud,
regulatory violations, and
negative media information.
This service also includes searches of country sanctions lists, exposed persons lists, sex offender registries, terrorist registries, and most-wanted lists from around the globe.
Unfortunately, we don’t run drug screening. Pre-employment drug testing could be considered discriminatory in various countries.
Background check request
During onboarding, you can select “Yes” for background checks.
How long does it take?
Turnaround time depends on the country, the complexity of the check, the availability of the records, and the efficiency and responsiveness of the sources.
How much does the background check cost?
The cost of a background check can vary from country to country. Initially, we will apply a flat fee of $49 per check, and country-specific access fees will be charged once finalized.
Where can I find the report?
Once the check is complete, Plane will upload a copy to the employee’s profile. You can see the report under Documents.
